| PUPPY CLASSES |
Got a new puppy? SOTC offers several puppy classes per session, with different start dates. Call (315) 458-1492 to leave a message that you are interested in the next available class.

Priority registrations for SOTC members and current students: by September 19, 2008
New basic classes are always forming on an as-needed basis so please call the SOTC phone line at 315-458-1492 and leave your name and phone number and indicate you are interested in the next basic class available and someone will get back to you when a class is beginning. You may also check back on the website for new puppy or basic class announcements.
A new Basic Class will begin Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 6:30pm. The instructor is Pam Renock. If you would like to join this class, please download the registration form and send it to our registrar along with payment and your dog's innoculation records.

| SOTC HOSTS THE ONONDAGA COUNTY 4H! |
4H is open to children under the age of 18 who want to learn more about their dogs. Mixed breed and purebreds are welcome. We will cover care, feeding, training for companionship, obedience competition and develop your child's skills in working and presenting their dogs in competition.
4H in Onondaga County is new this year! Membership by April will allow your child to compete at the State Fair. Syracuse Obedience Training Club is supporting 4H by offering their building as a meeting and training facility on Monday nights. Children must be accompanied by a guardian/responsible person.
Prerequisite: None
Cost: $15 payable to Onondaga County CCE
Monday, October 6, 5:30-7:00PM: First Meeting - paperwork, pizza party, introductions and plans (no dogs)
Dog Training: Mondays 6:00-7:00pm EXCEPT:
November 10: Project meeting-planning for January Expo, other project ideas, make banners (no dogs) December 22: No training, winter break
December 29: No training, winter break
January 12: Prep for expo, gather materials (no dogs)
January 19: No training, MLK Day
January 24: SOTC Expo, man 4-H table, demos, display projects
February 9: Spring planning meeting (no dogs)
