Syracuse Obedience Training Club Inc., based in Central New York, is an AKC-licensed obedience club founded in 1960 to "teach people to train their dogs." As we continue to serve and educate our community about our canine companions, Puppy and Basic classes are continually forming as the need arises. 4H is open to children under the age of 18 who want to learn more about their dogs. Mixed breed and purebreds are welcome. We will cover care, feeding, training for companionship, obedience competition and develop your child's skills in working and presenting their dogs in competition. 4H in Onondaga County is new! Membership by April will allow your child to compete at the State Fair. Syracuse Obedience Training Club is supporting 4H by offering their building as a meeting and training facility on Wednesday nights. Children must be accompanied by a guardian/responsible person.
